Ex-boyfriend, admits to killing ex-girlfriend in a street in Fukuoka, hoping to get back together

FUKUOKA – Police have arrested a 31-year-old guy yesterday, who was the former boyfriend of the female victim who was stabbed on the streets of Fukuoka last January 16.

Suspected of murder was Susumu Terauchi, 31-year-old, a restaurant employee in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

Terauchi is suspected of stabbing his former boyfriend, Miki Kawano to death using a knife. He had been missing since the incident, but at around 11:30 a.m. yesterday, a random investigator searching for the suspect found him walking alone in Nakasu, Fukuoka City.

Terauchi has been arrested and had admitted to the charges.

Terauchi is believed to have wanted to get back together with Kawano, and the police plan to investigate the motive for her murder in detail.
