New Coronavirus Infects 177 People Nationwide
A total of 177 people have been reported to be infected with the new coronavirus nationwide.

The number of newly infected people announced by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on December 19 was 33, an increase of 20 from last Sunday (13). The average number of new cases over the past seven days was 24.4, 140.2% of the number a week ago.
According to JNN, Kanagawa had the second highest number of cases after Tokyo, with 22, and Gunma had 19. Meanwhile, 26 prefectures have not announced any new cases.
In addition, of the infected people hospitalized nationwide, 27 are in serious condition and no deaths have been reported.
