OSAKA - A polícia em Osaka prendeu um homem desempregado de 53 anos de idade por suspeita de abandonar um corpo depois que ele não relatou a morte de seu pai de 87 anos, e manteve o corpo em sua casa.
A polícia disse que o suspeito, Shogo Kanaya, admitiu a acusação e o citou como dizendo que precisava continuar recebendo a pensão de seu pai para pagar o aluguel de sua casa municipal e para as despesas de moradia, informou Kyodo News.
Por volta das 9h30 da manhã de sábado, um funcionário da cidade visitou a casa em Kita Ward para servir um aviso de despejo. O homem encontrou os restos esqueletizados de Shigemi Kanaya e chamou a polícia.
A polícia disse que Kanaya ainda não disse quando ou como seu pai morreu.
