KANAGAWA - In the case of the murder of Sana Tominaga, 18, a college freshman, at an apartment in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City, police announced that the suspect, Haruki Ito, 22, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

The suspect, believed to be a former boyfriend of Tominaga, turned himself in with a knife shortly after the incident. According to Tominaga's classmate, a message from Tominaga received after 9:30 a.m. , "I woke up today and found my ex in my room. The key to my parents' house was missing and my ex had it hidden." She then states that she's going to speak to him outside the house, but the incident occurred only 30 minutes after the message was sent. News Source: Japan Today
