TOKYO – Just before noon on the 30th, a male worker was pinned by a machine in the underground parking lot of a building that houses a museum in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and later died.

Just before 11:30 a.m. on the morning of the 30th, a building security guard called 119 to report that a worker was pinned in the parking lot on the second basement floor of the “Museum Tower Kyobashi” building complex in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a male worker in his 40s was pinned in the chest by a machine in the mechanical parking lot on the second basement floor.
The man was taken to the hospital in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest, and was later confirmed dead. The worker was conducting inspection work with a colleague, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the situation in detail.
