Digital Minister Makishima emphasized, “Currently, the My Number Card penetration rate is 44.3%, but we aim to have it in the hands of almost all citizens by the end of this fiscal year.
The government has already awarded up to 5,000 yen worth of points to new my number card holders as part of the first round of my number points.
