AICHI – Three people were arrested for doing obscene acts at Kura Sushi in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, by filming and posting a video of a soy sauce dipper on their mouths.

The arrested suspects were Ryoga Yoshino, 21, a 19-year-old man, and a 15-year old female.

According to the police, on the night of February 3, at Kura Sushi in Sakae 4-chome, Naka-ku, Nagoya, the three were suspected of obstructing business by directly putting a soy sauce container from a table into their mouths, filming it with their smartphones, and posting it on SNS.

The three are believed to have met through social networking sites. Yoshino put his mouth on the soy sauce spoon, and the 19-year-old took a picture of it and posted it.

The incident was discovered when a store official found the video and reported it to the police, and the 19-year-old man was arrested on February 5, two days after the incident.

Kura Sushi commented, “We would like to thank the police for their prompt action. We are currently consulting with our lawyers regarding a civil lawsuit”.
