HOKKAIDO – On the night of March 8, a woman living with her teenage son was arrested at a residence in Hakodate, Hokkaido, for throwing a hair iron at her son, causing a burns.

She is suspected of throwing a hair iron at her teenage son at around 8:40 p.m., when he got into trouble with her at home.

The police have not released her detailed address, name, or age, citing the possibility that she is also a victim of domestic violence and has restricted access to her personal information.

The cause of the trouble is still under investigation, but the woman had been drinking. And the two had a trouble which resulted in the mother throwing the hair iron at her son. The son called his estranged father, and reported that his mother had thrown an iron at him and his head was bleeding, the issue has been reported to the police and the police officers who arrived arrested the mother on the spot.

The woman, told interrogators that she did it because she was afraid of her son who had rebelled against her. The police are continuing to investigate the details of the incident.
