TOKYO – Several men posed as gas suppliers and broke in inside an apartment in Tokyo.

Robbery at Tokyo apartment leaves one suspect dead; 4 escaped! (ANN)

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, at around 9:30 a.m. on March 21, several men broke into an apartment in Higashi Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, tied the hands and feet of a male Chinese president and a female employee, and robbed them of approximately 1 million yen in cash and a bank book.

In the struggle, the male president fought back, and when police officers arrived, one of the men was lying on the ground with blood pouring from his neck.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is pursuing the whereabouts of the men who fled.
