Man, stabbed by an unknown man in a street in Fukuoka
FUKUOKA – Yesterday, a man called 110 to report that he had been stabbed by a stranger in a residential area of Fukuoka City.

Police are investigating the incident as an attempted murder.
According to the police, at around 8:20 a.m. on May 25, a 28-year-old man living nearby called 110 and said, “I was stabbed by a stranger in a residential area in Imajuku, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City.” When he checked his back, he found blood on it.
The man was on his way to the hospital where he worked when he sustained a wound about 1 cm wide and 2 cm deep on the right side of his waist, presumably from a knife-like wound.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected to survive.
The police are searching for the whereabouts of the attacker as a case of attempted murder.
