AICHI – A body of unknown age and sex was found in a forest in Higashiyama Zoo in Nagoya City. A visitor noticed a strange smell and a staff member found the body.

According to the police, at around 3:20 p.m. on the 27th, at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Garden in Chikusa-ku, Nagoya, a male employee found a human body in the woods of the garden and called the police.
The body was found lying on its back in the woods and in a state of advanced decomposition.
A visitor to the botanical garden notified staff of a strange odor coming from the woods. It is not known if there were any noticeable external injuries, and there was no disarray in the clothing.
The police are working to identify the body.
