26-year-old Vietnamese man stabbed and critically injured in Gunma, perpetrator on the run.
GUNMA – A 26-year-old Vietnamese man is unconscious and in critical condition after being stabbed with what appears to be a knife in Ora-machi, Gunma Prefecture. Police are investigating the incident as an attempted murder.
Yesterday, a Vietnamese man, Hoang Van Son, 26, was stabbed with a knife-like object in the stomach near a restaurant in the town of Ora, and is in critical condition, unconscious.
According to the police, Hoang was brought to a hospital in Ota City by a Vietnamese acquaintance with what appeared to be a knife in his hand.
Hoang had been in trouble with a group of other foreigners in the vicinity of the restaurant prior to the incident, and the police are trying to locate the perpetrators and are investigating the incident as an attempted murder.
