At around 0:45 a.m. on the 13th, Saburo Kadokura (79) was run over by two passenger cars one after the other on a street in Miyachi, Kounosu City, and was confirmed dead on the spot. The police arrested two people, including an office worker, who were driving the passenger car on suspicion of manslaughter by negligent driving.
On the other hand, the police are investigating the possibility that another car may have run over the man first and then fled the scene, as they received a report that a person was lying on the road before the two cars ran over Mr. Kadokura.
