Yesterday, October 11, 369 new cases of coronavirus have been announced nationwide.

This is the first time since June 25 last year that the number of people infected in a single day in Tokyo has been below 50. The average number of tests conducted in the last three days is about 4,460.
While the number of infected people has decreased, the number of “seriously ill” people according to the metropolitan government’s criteria has increased by two people from the previous day to 62.
Nine prefectures have reported no new cases.
Of the new corona patients hospitalized nationwide, 478 are still considered critically ill. In addition, 18 new deaths have been reported.
